If I'm around at 4pm, I'm in. HighOnPokr on yahoo. I want to gi
Acorn, dont you think we need to padd out the table with some fish?
or are teh fish our american friends ;-)
From my experience us Brits are the fishies in Holdem land but every fish has its day...
Its like that old phrase isnt it
" if you sit at the table and cant work out who the fish are, chances are its you!"
I'm going to use my all in strategy.
If I have AA-QQ I will go all in.
That way my opponents will not be able to outplay me on the flop...
Another 10 man NL question...
I'm UTG with JJ. raise 4SB? 4BB? Or just call, seeing as I'm probably going to get killed by an overpair on the flop?
Lets keep the skills to ourselves.
we cant tell our american friends all our moves.
What moves are you going to employ? The ole British colonization bluff. The busted teeth all-in. The dry-humor table banter. How about the tea time slowplay.
Bring it Brits. You bring the money, and we'll bring the American attitude and know-how.
This ain't your all American "World" Series now Jordan.
The Brits are coming and we have yanks to spank!
( milk n 2 sugar in my tea though if your brewing up)

Mr Edge,
I'd probably raise 4 b preflop and bet out pot size no matter the flop.Ready to ditch if played back at on a scary board. At a loose table with lots of raises I may limp and call a 4-5bb raise hoping for low flop or a set.
Depending on the table style, opponents, your table image and your general feel for the game.
Our american friends can bring their attitude to the table but lets remember that us brits have the skills to pay the bills!
I will be looking out for anyone trying the fat camp fold, the Schwarzenegger shuffle or the burger king bluff.
I dont fear any american.
Bring it on!
Bring it on! ;-)
