Silly grin
Ok I'm not so hot on this interweb thingy and sadly the only photo of me ( and Mrs A ) online is this one and I was quite drunk and giving it my cheesiest eye bulging grin.The other grinning idiot on the left works for Snoopys and I've no idea why he's in the photo!
You can probably tell how Interweb savvy I am by the number of times the Pokerstars blogger tourney badge appears on my blog.I actually thought I'd cut n pasted the script stuff just fine until I noticed it appears under every post I've ever made.
Played 10 mins of poker last night winning a couple of $$ with 10 10 and losing a couple with JJ.
Registered for "The Sun" newspapers freeroll at 888.com for the chance to win an entry to the UK Pokeropen .Top 30 qualify for the final tomorrow night.I think its been running all last week too and theres already 2000 entered in each of tonights qualifiers.Not much chance and its on the worst poker site ever but a freeroll is what I need to get back in the groove before deciding where I want to play.( Pokerroom or Interpoker).
I may well be playing tennis whilst at the tables.( The freeroll tables anyway)The Sony PSP I bought before I went away is one seriously cool piece of kit.Virtua tennis and Ridge Racer are my 2 fav games for it.Its amazing having ps2 graphics on something so small.A long way from the Pacman handheld game I had 20 years ago.
Ok bombed out the freeroll after my AA was cracked by AQ. I went all in on a 9 9 10 flop and he called and hit a 8 and then a J on the river.Welcome back eh!
One of the topics buzzing round my pea brain whilst star gazing on my holiday balcony ( apart from where's my next drink/smoke) was chat at the poker table.I noticed http://www.gcox25.blogspot.com/ mentioned it briefly in one of his recent posts. But far more funnily I've just noticed that Mr CoX's fine blog also has the Pokerstars Blogger badge on every post.Welcome to the Etard club.lol.
Mr Cox mentioned not feeling comfortable playing short handed with fellow bloggers and I can understand why.Poker is a game of patience but as we all know its also a game where the best liars and the most deceitful players make the most money and while we would all hope our friends see us as honest,decent people its hard to balance the obvious human need to "be liked" with the different persona we have to bring to the table especially when playing with friends.
When I sit down at 6 or 10 max cash game with strangers I'm not caring about popularity.I just want to win.I generally only try and wind up idiots in the chat box and even that is not something I do too often in case it backfires and puts me off my own game.I don't chat much and only pay attention to the chat to see if anyone gives any useful information.
Ok the difference between this post and a pencil is that a pencil has a point so here endeth yet another disjointed post.
My brain will be leaving holiday mode any day now I'm sure.....

That's almost it, LAM. I don't have a problem lying to them, it's the whole "giving them my money" thing that irks me.LOL. Really, I don't want to take their money and I don't want to give them mine, especially when it is 4 out of 6 bloggers at the same table.

The t-shirt is actually a no limt one I made up but it looks like a snoopys one from the way they've done the photy.
Well what can i say to that. You can tell Mrs A that im glad she thinks so and if she has a lovely scottish accent to boot she must be quite a catch!
Incidentally did you notice that there was an arsenal player tormenting the scottish defence yesterday? Our winger Aleksandr Hleb! And he isnt even one of our star players! nice.

Hleb is a great player.First saw him when Rangers bt Stutgart a couple of seasons ago.When Henry leaves in the summer he will be your star.lol
He probably wouldn't get in the Chelsea team though....
i dont understand the people who give chelsea flak. They are a good team. Although I do think that they could do with a striker or two. Is drogba worth the money, can crespo play in the premiership and now that Gudjohnnson plays midfield they dont have many options. I know they would love Henry although perhaps Van nistenroyy would be more suited. I dont think Henry will leave although we could do with more experience in our team. Our older players are getting too old and our younger players need to go to school during the day!
Drogba is great on his day but I agree about still needing an Eto,Adriano type to complete the team.
You do have some excellent young players but wether they can go on and develop into replacements for the likes of Bergkamp only time will tell.
