Movin' Up Plan

Spoke to the good lady on the phone yesterday.I said that I can understand her friends advising her it won't work out ( due to the kids issue) and that she deserves to find someone who can offer her more certainty than I can at present. For her part she said she was over emotional the other night due to other reasons, she appreciates my honesty and that she wants to keep seeing me.As long as we both know where we stand I'm happy to take things as they come for now and see how it goes.I hope my previous post didn't imply she wants to rush things as I don't think that's the case. She simply doesn't want to get hurt further down the line due to a issue neither of us can do anything to change.

In a previous relationship it was probably my partner who was the more sensible one re any issues ( kids, distance, that type of thing without getting specific) whereas I was the one who reckoned feelings can't be fought and we'd work things out one way or another.Being wrong hurt( several times) and I wonder if perhaps I'm not as keen as the current lady seems to be about me due to that experience.I do like her, I don't want to mess her about and I'd like to give my feelings a chance to develop some more.If they don't though I defintely won't string her along as I told myself after splitting from the ex Mrs A that if something wasn't working I'd be far more pro-active about ending things rather than letting a situation drag on.

Now to far more important matters...poker.So far this year I've paid off my car loan, bought my Rangers season ticket, paid for my Dam trip next week, covered car repair bills and generally put my poker winnings to good use.As I don't have any immediate bills to cover I think it's time I I used my roll to take a few shots at higher buy-in sngs.I began the month at Party with $2300 and have made...$1 so far.The plan is to stick to $22's until I hit $2400 and then play $33's.If I drop below $2300 it's back to the $22's and if I can hit the $3k mark playing $33's I'm going to try the $55's and drop back a level if my roll drops back below $2400.10-11 buy-in swings are totally standard and I should probably give myself more leeway but dropping from $3k to $2.4k still seems like a lot to me and I'll see how this goes.

I see fishy people

The mindset of the poker fish has always interested me.How can people be so stupid we ask ourselves? Lack of experience, the urge to gamble, the thrill of making mooooves, tilt and people with plenty of experience who simply don't "get it" are a few of my theories.I keep reading about how tough games are thanks to poker forums, training sites etc and although there may be a little truth in that,I remember reading a load of snooker books as a lad and they never turned me into Stephen Hendry! ( good enough to play blindfold with a hand tied behind my back and still beat Juice though! )

People who type "may as well be playing bingo" in chat boxes forget that thousands of people do play bingo online with no edge at all and probably see poker as just another gambling game.

I wrote about channel 5''s rip-off late night quiz recently and how daft people must be to think they stand a decent chance of winning. The fact is that most poker players just aren't as bright or smart as I'm sure my readers are and you have to take this into account when playing them. This means not using your own default hand ranges for villains. You may well only call that big bet or shove with a better hand but this doesn't mean a fish won't pay you off with something far worse.Of course it's highly frustrating to feel like your being continually be outdrawn but when I stepped down and played a few $12 ,45 player games last night I simply found the donkey calls provided a good general guide to the standard of play.Having my JJ cracked all in preflop by someone ready to get it all in early in the game with 23 o/s genuinely made me smile.

Maybe it's a bit of a leap and no offence meant to believers, but reading this recent Guardian CIF post on the growth of the psychic industry also demonstrates to me just how many more stupid and gullible people are out there. It's mentioned in the article that psychic,Sally Morgan, received more than 250,000 emails after her tv show was aired. This was just before they all logged on to Pokerstars....

Anyways I had another decent night at the tables and was also pleased to see that twat Ben finally get the boot from The Apprentice.( though some thorough media training meant he managed to come across as decent enough on the "You've been Fired" show afterwards.)

Back to the poker and I took down another $22 at Party before deciding to try out a few of these low stakes multi-table sngs I keep reading are so juicy.I fired up three $12,45 player games and can't deny the fishieness of the play on show. The bottom line is that I crashed out of two but managed to hit the final table with a big stack in one game and bullied my way to a win from there. The prize was only $154 ( $54 more than 1st in a $22) but it felt good!

Visiting my parents tonight, seeing the good lady tomorrow night and the s-man is coming over on Saturday night. The nerves and tension are also building already for Sundays league title showdown.I can barely think about it without getting butterflies and I can't put into words just how much it would mean to me to see the league flag returned to it's rightful home for a world record 52nd time.

Ok,thanks for reading.Back soon...

Skates On

I played in the RTR challenge game on Tuesday evening as planned and it provided a welcome break from the usual grind.Aside from winning a small pot with a set in a blind v blind battle,I was completely card dead throughout and ended up shoving A3 from late postion, running into AQ and crashing out 6th.Congrats to Bully on taking it down and also to Dudley ( Resdent Evil) who managed to make the money despite his preflop raise button failing to work.( hehe)

Two Pies was over on Wednesday night to watch Rangers win 4-0 in the cup and to play some more Resistance 2.Last night it was the s-man who was over for some Half-Life 2 action and he also helped me register my ps3 and get it online.Watch out for top gamer, Stinkyp1nky, wandering around aimlessly firing at thin air whilst getting pwned by 10 yr olds shouting “pussy faggot”.

I was looking for ice skates for Step A online earlier and came across this gem.Yep,customers who bought ice skates also bought a bag...and a dart board! "Torvill, you require forty"....

Back to the poker geekery and here's one that was so close I thought it was interesting. It folded to me in the small blind and I shoved my 88.The result shouldn't influence the decision, but when he hit his Ace, it felt like I'd made a big mistake. If I played it again I think it's a marginal fold.

Rosie takes the Bloggerment down

Congrats to Rosie for taking down the bloggerment last night after a fine display of poker! Maybe I’m biased but I thought it was a very well deserved win! Well done sweetheart!

I crashed out in 9th after shoving the hammer ( 72) and having it badly sucked out on by Cogs and his AQ.I didn’t play too many significant hands, but I did make a tough laydown to Cell preflop for the 2nd week in a row.Next week I shove….

Great to see Surflexus and Katitude make the game too.Rosie and I were just chatting the other day about how good Surf’s latest post was ( the one with the excellent Gary Player quote) and although I’m sure he outplayed me a couple of times, I enjoyed the learning experience!

I did make one glaring error which annoyed me.Dudley had limped in along with Kat in the small blind and I checked in the bb with K5.The flop was a 456 rainbow and I decided Dudley would probably bet from the button with a wide range, and that a check raise would probably take it down.Dudley did bet,Kat folded and I check called my 2nd pair to the river where Dudleys 89 caught a 9 to win.Poorly played by me on every street…

I didn’t really batter the turbo’s at the weekend. On Sat night I paid $25+$2 on Littlewoods ( I have a little cash there to play rtr games) to play in their $5k gtd mtt with Rosie.I’ve never been an mtt fan and this experience did nothing to change that. I did prefer paying a slightly higher entry fee than I would usually though, as it meant the field was only 237 and my chances were a bit better.I came 17th for $59 after about 27 days non-stop play ( maybe just seemed that way) after going out when my 33 was insta-called by K8.Nh sir!

Last night after the bloggerment I decided to play a few $16 turbos.Don’t tell anyone but the $16,18 player games are populated by so many bad players you would be hard pushed to realise it’s a real money game at times. That’s the good news. The bad news is that they have to be the most vicious ,cruel ,soul sucking form of poker ever invented, and sometimes the beats just seem to be relentless and never ending.

I don’t steam or tilt often in these games though, because I’m just so stubbornly determined that I will not allow fish getting lucky to put me off my game, and stop me making the good decisions which lead to profit.Sure, I feel utterly sick for about 5 minutes after a suckout, but I wont waste energy getting too upset at dealing with something which has happened and I can’t change.

Anyway the bottom line was that I bombed out of five $16’s and scraped a win in my last one of the night.I also joined Rosie at a couple of $50 nl full ring tables and lost about $30 before heading to bed at 3am.( silly on a work night as I start the week exhausted).I read Doubleas latest excellent post where he writes about getting 5 hours sleep per night and catching up with 12-14 hours of sleep every couple of weeks.I know that feeling!

Ok,thanks for reading.Back later in the week..

Wee win ends tilt form...

I had to dig deep last night when my first $16 turbo ended after a few hands when my KK fell to AK sooooted, which made a flush on the river. The pain made me almost glad Cog’s KK had held against my AK in the DTD game!

I’ve become a far better two tabler over recent months and had another one on the go, until I shoved with 88,Mr A7 insta-called and the seemingly enevitable Ace hit on the turn to send me packing.

Sharkscope already had my recent form as “tilt” after going 0/4 without cashing and I was beginning to think I was running into a bad luck brickwall, especially after my JJ fell to good old AK in my third game of the night.

I took a minute to tell myself to get a grip and actually quite enjoyed my last turbo of the night,as one fish spent the entire game lecturing another fishy who ignored him throughout. The quiet fish did make some terrible plays but the big mouth bass outdid him with some dreadful calls and shoves.( and bubbled in redonkulous fashion)

In fact there were only four winners from sixteen starters and much of the play seemed no better than a play money table.Min raises, lots of weak calling stations and big stacks who had no idea how to maximise their position around bubble time.I adjusted by raising 6-8bb early on preflop and by overbetting for value with made hands on later streets. My hands held up and my strategy worked as I finally broke my wee losing streak to take it down for $108.

I watched an excellent cardrunners video where the pro was playing $50nl and this inspired me to play a little 6 max $100nl at 365 where I two tabled, ran quite well and left about $50 up after 25 minutes play.

I’m off to buy a badminton racket at lunchtime as the one I had in my cupboard has three strings and is marked “4b” which means I used it in Fourth year at high school.( so it’s a couple of years old!)

More than a club..

Thanks to all for the comments on my last post.Maybe I should rant more often!

No poker on Tuesday night as I was at Ibrox to see Rangers secure a 0-0 draw with the mighty Barcelona. It was great to see players like Messi,Henry and Ronaldinho in the flesh and I was delighted Rangers managed to contain them for 90 minutes. After our 3-0 gubbing of celtc at the weekend and their usual away defeat in the Champions league last night,it's been a fine football week all round!

The ex called yesterday to say she isn't well which meant she wasn't working and I wasn't needed to go over and look after Step A.I decided to treat myself and had dinner at the excellent Paperinos and had the same tortelli di Parma (ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach, served with parmesan cheese, butter and sage) I ate the last time and it was just as tasty.

I played some poker at DTD when I returned and after a couple of swings I left £1 up after an hours play!

I two tabled $16 turbo's at Stars ( 18 player) and managed 2nd in one of them.I should probably have won it after dominating the heads-up by playing a hyper aggressive style, but I didn't change gears at the right time, and couldn't regain momentum after losing a big pot with Q4 to Q7 on a Queen high board.

I moved to Bet 365 and played at a juicy $200nl 8 max table ,finishing even after 1/2 hrs play.

Tonight I'm picking my boy up ( Nacho) after work and taking him to the local pitches to test out the new ball thrower thing I bought yesterday.( should save my arm hurting for 2 days!)

After that it's dinner and to the tables....

Tourney time

I seem to play an awful lot of tourneys for a cash game player!Last night I played three, starting with the Raisetheriver league game, where I managed to scrape into 6th place after a tough game.I don't remember many hands apart from forcing Burnley Mik to lay down his 77 with my overpair to the board, and then going out when I pushed my k2sooted into Dudleys k10.( blinds high by that point)

After I crashed and burned I watched the game play out, and then hit the 365 cash tables where I left with a $5 profit after playing for more than an hour.

A Stars $16,18 player turbo was calling my name and I managed to take it down for a nice wee boost, before remembering Katitudes Friday night $1 donkament rebuy game on Full Tilt, and that was my next stop. One rebuy and one add on was all that I required, and eventually out of 15 runners, I finished 2nd at 5.15am for a $33 pay out.It may have been a $1 donkament but the play was pretty solid most of the time, especially at the final table.

The headsup battle lasted around 20 minutes and swung one way then the other with both of us hitting the occasional miracle card to stay in at times.I eventually went out when my J10 push on a King high board was called by J9soooted and the flush hit on the river.

Not long back from Ibrox where Rangers continued the good start to the season with a 7-2 win over Falkirk with goals from Cousin ( 2), Darchville, ( 2) Whittaker,Boyd and Broadfoot. It's still very early in the season to be thinking about bringing the league title back home, but the chances of us winning a world record 52nd league title are certainly looking better than they were last season.( which isn't saying much considering how crap we were then!)

I had to laugh at the guy behind me as he spends most of the 90 mins abusing our own players and the moment Boyd fired off a long crossfield pass today he was yelling "Boyd ya useless c*nt,what the f*ck is that?" and when it finally landed with pin point accuracy right at the feet of another Gers player he quickly added "lucky, very lucky".The motormouth then asked if we were on drugs for singing Boyds name ....just before Boydy swept the ball into the net! To be fair the motormouth is always willing to laugh about it when he gets it wrong like that and the games wouldn't be the same without him.

I've had my season ticket for about 11 years now ( ever since I started my Mon-Fri office monkey job)and there's a fair few characters near my seat in the traditional Rangers end.I detest the politically correct attitude pervading all of society these days and enjoy letting off steam at the game on a Saturday.I'm not one to sit and politely applaud my team.I begin in a fairly calm ( usually exhausted after a 5am poker finish!)manner, before getting to my feet at the first bad tackle or poor refereeing decision. As the match rolls on I get more and more animated and passionate about what's going on, until it's time to cheer the team off,hit the board overhead on the way out, and get ready to do it all again next week.

Pasta and poker are the plans for this evening.Don't forget to register for tomorrows Bloggerment 22 game.See previous posts for details...

Loose call?

I barely played at all on Monday night ( one failed $16 turbo) and last night I registered for a turbo, before deciding I'm getting a little bored of the format,so I moved to a Laddies $50 nl cash table with a $25 average pot.

As usual ( for an high ave pot table), there was a player raising every pot preflop and betting hard post flop.He was taking down a lot of pots and tilting players into donking off their stacks with less than stellar hands.

I made my first stand with AQ,limping in and calling the villains 8bb raise. The flop came 2h Qc Kh and I elected to call the maniacs by now standard continuation bet of $9.25,planning to take it away on the turn if possible and not be too afraid of the King.

The turn was a Js and I check raised the villains $13 bet to $27.I reckoned that raise would look as if it wanted called and as it was the first time I'd played back,I hoped it would be enough.I only had $11 left from my $50 buy-in so he knew he probably wasn't going to push me off.He folded....

A bit later I'd lost the profit from that hand when I picked up AK.Another villain made a weak min raise to $1 which was reraised by the maniac to $6.50.I decided the first guy was getting frustrated ( he'd just asked the maniac if all in was his only move) and my Ak could well be ahead and was almost certainly ahead of the maniac.

I moved all in for $46 and the first bettor called with A7 and the maniac called with ( I'm not making this up!!) 7c 4d.Thankfully my big slick held up.

The next big hand was interesting as I made a very marginal post flop call which the villain and I debated for the rest of my time at the table.I don't normally get into that sort of chat or I'll try and tilt 'em with "I had a feeling" etc but I had a note against the villain which said he was a "great player" and for some reason I felt obliged to point out it wasn't quite the bad beat it seemed.

I was dealt Ac Jc and limped in,ready to call the maniacs standard preflop raise.Mr "Great" called too and we saw a Js 2c Qc flop which I obviously liked.Mr Great checked ,the maniac made a $7.50 bet and I called with my ton of outs.Mr Great suddenly check raised all in for $76 more and I went into the tank.

I reckoned Mr Great had to have a hand to bet like that but that with me holding AJ it was less likely he had two pair and against the maniac in particular could be going to war with a hand like KQ,K10.It was very tight but I decided my flush draw and TPTK ( top pair top kicker) may well be good. There was $23 of dead money already in the pot and I made the call. The turn was an Ace putting me ahead with my 2 pair and the 4c on the river gave me the ( unrequired) flush and sealed the deal against Mr G's flopped 2 pair with QJ.

Mr Great felt it was a terrible beat despite me and Killerpea ( another player I've played with and respect) pointing out just how close it was.I was a 45/55% dog when the money went in, although if he had Qx ( my read) I would have been a very marginal favourite at 50.51 v 49.49%.

To be fair Mr G did go on to say that it was more the fact he felt he's suffered a 100 bad ones in a row and a bad three months that made him feel so bad but jeez did he harp on about it!

For the first time ever I mentioned I'd be posting it on my ghey poker blog so if you should read this,Hsvedan, feel free to rant in the comments box about what a donkey you think I am :-)

My car loan has been approved and I'm not long back from test driving the Focus ST 170 I looked at on Sunday.Doesn't seem quite as quick as my 2.5 v6 Alfa 156 but it can shift and was smooth to drive. The garage guy called my mobile whilst I was driving on Sunday and told my Dad he agreed to the part exchange price I was looking for.Today is went back on that and says he'll call me tonight if he can do a deal.I like the car but it aint the only one out there.

Righty I'll probably manage one more post tomorrow before heading off to Ibiza for a week on Friday night. Thanks for reading!

Mind Preparation

Mrs A and I went out for dinner last night and I hit the tables later on when she'd gone to bed.Her huff is over and things are running smoothly again which is great news for us as a couple and also for my poker bankroll.( after last weekends moody tiltfest)

The tables were kinder to me too as I managed to come 3rd in my first $15 turbo and
then take down the next one. I won $10 at the Stars 6 max $50 nl too, lost $20 at Laddys and won $20 at Party.

Once again every time I lose I could replay the hand easily in my head ( usually on a repeat loop) but after my two ITM's last night I can barely recall a single winning hand!( but I'm sure my money went in as favourite every time!!)

It's strange how I can have a vague idea for a blog post floating around my head and within a few days Dr Pauly mentions he does it and quotes Andy Black ( on his Wednesday post) as stating he's also at it for up to two hours per day to prepare his mind for poker.I'm on about meditation and the only plan I had was to start my post with "I'm not into mumbo jumbo type nonsense but....".

I did include it on my 7 unknown facts about me yesterday and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a clear and uncluttered mind.I first tried it over 10 years ago when I'd being feeling really low after the end of a long term relationship and was surprised at how such a simple technique could leave me feeling so fresh and invigorated.

The truth is that I stopped attending the Buddhist centre because I'd progressed from the beginners class to the advanced class, and I felt that although I was interested in the Buddhism side of it,I didn't want to take that interest further, and really wished to simply concentrate on meditating for my own spirtual wellbeing rather than as a route to religious enlightenment of any kind.

The other idea I've been meaning to mention here is using the power of visualisation to focus the mind at the poker tables.Once again, it would be easy to dismiss it as new age nonsense, or more mumbo jumbo, ( and feel free to do so and head over to the links on the right!)but I feel that as confidence is such a huge part of doing well at any sport/interest, then any potential edge shouldn't be ignored without trying it, or at least giving it some thought.

I've read about athletes who visualise the whole race ahead of them and I'm sure there are loads of books on the subject of using visualisation in business and commerce. At the poker table ( or before the game begins) I think it's a matter of simply closing my eyes for a moment and focusing on the fact that I will play strong, tight agressive poker and will not be mentally drained by any beats that come my way.

I tried it and imagined I was the big stack at the table, making confident decisions based on logic, experience and player reads. This was the other week and I left that $50nl table with $241.

Adapt as required but remember you can't fool yourself.I tried it again at a later date but I was already tired and playing quite poorly and it done with half assed conviction and soon came back to bite me.

Ok if there's anyone left still reading, then here's a basic starter for ten on how to meditate taken ( didn't see any copyright on the site so I hope simply linking and giving credit is ok)from here.No humming involved!

The most basic form of meditation involves attending to one's breath.

Begin by sitting in a simple chair, keeping your back erect if you can. The more traditional postures are the lotus position, sitting on a pillow with each foot upon the opposite thigh, and variations such as the half lotus (one foot on the opposite thigh, the other out in front of the opposite knee). This is difficult for many people. Some people kneel, sitting back on their legs or on a pillow between their legs. Many use a meditation bench: kneel, then place a little bench beneath your behind. But meditation is also done while standing, slowly walking, lying on the floor, or even in a recliner!

Traditionally, the hands are placed loosely, palms up, one on top of the other, and with the thumbs lightly touching. This is called the cosmic mudra, one of a large number of symbolic hand positions. You may prefer to lay them flat on your thighs, or any other way that you find comfortable.

Your head should be upright, but not rigid. The eyes may be closed, or focussed on a spot on the ground a couple of feet ahead of you, or looking down at your hands. If you find yourself getting sleepy, keep your eyes open!

Beginning meditators are often asked to count their breath, on the exhale, up to ten. Then you begin back at one. If you loose track, simply go back to one. Your breath should be slow and regular, but not forced or artificially controlled. Just breathe naturally and count.

A few weeks later, you may forego the counting and try to simply follow your breath. Concentrate on it entering you and exiting you. Best is to be aware as fully as possible of the entire process of breathing, but most people focus on one aspect or another: the sensation of coolness followed by warmth at the nostrils, or the rise and fall of the diaphragm. Many meditators suggest imagining the air entering and exiting a small hole an inch or two below your navel. Keeping your mind lower on the body tends to lead to deeper meditation. If you are sleepy, then focus higher, such as at the nostrils.

You will inevitably find yourself distracted by sounds around you and thoughts within. The way to handle them is to acknowledge them, but do not attach yourself to them. Do not get involved with them. Just let them be, let them go, and focus again on the breath. At first, it might be wise to scratch when you itch and wiggle when you get uncomfortable. Later, you will find that the same scant attention that you use for thoughts and sounds will work with physical feelings as well.

A more advanced form of meditation is shikantaza, or emptiness meditation. Here, you don't follow anything at all. There is no concentration -- only quiet mindfulness. You hold your mind as if you were ready for things to happen, but don't allow your mind to become attached to anything. Things -- sounds, smells, aches, thoughts, images -- just drift in and out, like clouds in a light breeze. This is my own favorite.

Many people have a hard time with their thoughts. We are so used to our hyperactive minds, that we barely notice the fact that they are usually roaring with activity. So, when we first sit and meditate, we are caught off guard by all the activity. So some people find it helpful to use a little imagination to help them meditate. For example, instead of counting or following your breath, you might prefer to imagine a peaceful scene, perhaps floating in a warm lagoon, until the noise of your mind quiets down.

Meditate for fifteen minutes a day, perhaps early in the morning before the rest of the house wakes up, or late at night when everything has quieted down. If that's too much, do it once a week if you like. If you want, do more. Don't get frustrated. And don't get competitive, either. Don't start looking forward to some grand explosion of enlightenment. If you have great thoughts, fine. Write them down, if you like. Then go back to breathing. If you feel powerful emotions, wonderful. Then go back to breathing. The breathing is enlightenment.

Spilled the glue

So, I said to Mrs A as I was about to head off to the football on Thursday night "You gonna miss me?" in a half joking kinda way."No" she replied, sounding all serious and instead of going to the game ,enjoying watching Rangers win 4-0 in our biggest win of the season,I was at home trying to save our relationship.Without going into detail we are going to keep working at it and will hopefully come out stronger together. One of her complaints was that we don't go out enough and whilst I can accept that ,part of the reason is that every penny goes towards our next sunshine holiday. There's probably not many couples go abroad 3 times a year but this year we're only going away in Sept so there should be more cash for the comedy nights, cinema, meals out etc that we enjoyed when we first met.

All this after I'd kind of got used to the idea that ( Mrs A's a bit older than me and going through the change) I'd never have any kids of my own.A fellow bloggers kind words ( she knows who she is!) were a great help in letting me see that I can be ( and am) close to Step A and not having any kids that are biologically mine wouldn't leave a big gap in my life.Women eh? Can't live with 'em ,can't shoot 'em! hehehe

Ok,enough! Back to the important stuff....da poker!

I didn't play at all on Thursday night but managed a few games last night, winning a FT $11 sng ,crashing out of another and coming 3rd at a 'Stars 18 player $15 turbo.I also won my first table at a $2.75 triple turbo Sunday Mill sat but never managed to get going in the 2nd round.
I also managed to donk off $20 at a Laddys cash table when I overplayed AJ on a ragged K J 3 rainbow flop with one of those daft moments where all logic said the villian had paired the K ( KQ he had) but my brain insisted he was bluffing me.Doh.

Ok,this afternoon Mrs A and I are donning the matching welly boots ( nae matching wax jackets ,we aint that sad) and taking Nacho to the local park for a walk in the (light) rain before hopefully renting Saw 3 for tonight.

Maybe some poker later, but more probably on Sunday night when Mrs A is working.Something to take from last night was, that even after one night off I found myself really enjoying the game more, especially the sngs'.I've always seen myself as a cash player, but these days it seems such a grind compared to the excitement and drama of the world of sng turbo's.

After reading one of Jordan's latest posts where he wrote ""But I try to offer advice that I have found useful, and a cornerstone to my philosophy is that in order to succeed you must be confident", I'm trying to start my games with a wee pep talk to myself. I accept I make make the odd donk move and can't influence my cards to hold up but if all else is equal then I can be as good or better than anyone at my table.Maybe part of the reason I take so long to actually start playing most nights has been that I'm a lazy git. Whilst I love that feeling of being at a table so long that I have reads on most players and have the dynamic all worked out ,I hate the blind part at the start of an sng or cash game where I have almost zero info.

Righty I've babbled on enough for today. Thanks for stopping by.
